We recommend you check the status dots on the login screen before you join any event:

All of the dots highlighted below should appear green; this indicates that no issues are expected.

In case any of the status dots are red, here are the common Issues

Error Area Meaning Solution
Browser Your current browser does not support the required features for BoostEvents to function correctly. We recommend downloading the newest version of Google Chrome, Edge. If you're a speaker or an interpreter you must use Google Chrome or Edge. If you're an audience member you can use other browsers, though we recommend Chrome and Edge.
Cookies Cookies are disabled in your current browser. You should allow your cookies for the best experience of BoostEvents.
Camera and microphone capturing Your current browser does not support the required features for BoostEvents to function correctly. We recommend downloading the newest version of Google Chrome or Edge. You should use Google Chrome or Edge.
Connectivity test Your computer is not able to connect to the BoostEvents web servers. Please check your firewall settings with your IT department. Please visit our article on Optimal Firewall Configuration to learn how to solve this issue.
Network speed test Your internet speed might be too low or your computer is not able to connect to the BoostEvents media servers. You can run a speed test to check your connection. The Ping should be less than 50 ms and download more than 5 Mbps. Please visit our article on Optimal Firewall Configuration for firewall issues.
