To upload your presentation for an event on BoostEvents, all the slides need to be saved as separate images.
PowerPoint to JPEG
If you have your PowerPoint presentation open in MS Office PowerPoint do the following to convert the slides to images:
For MacOS users:
- Click on the ‘File’ button on the menu bar in the top left corner of the screen
- Click on ‘Export…’ or ‘Save as Picture from the drop-down menu (depending on your MS Office version)
- At the bottom of the pop-up window remember to check the ‘File Format’ and change it to ‘JPEG’ from the drop-down menu. Width:1920 and Height: 1080 for better quality on the BoostEvents platform.
- You can also choose if you want to ‘Save every slide’ or ‘Save current slide only’
- Press on the ‘Export’/’Save’ button to finish
- Your slides are now saved as images in your chosen location
For Windows users:
- Click on the ‘Office Button’ or ‘File’ button on the menu bar in the top left corner of the screen (depending on your MS Office version)
- Click on ‘Save as’ from the menu
- At the bottom of the pop-up window remember to check the ‘Save as type’ and change it to ‘JPEG’ from the drop-down menu
- Press on the ‘Save’ button
- A pop-up window will show asking if you want to save the current slide or every slide in the presentation as a JPEG file. Click on the button for the preferred output.
- Your slides are now saved as images in your chosen location
PDF to JPEG
There are 2 ways suggested for converting PDFs into images.
- Use Adobe Illustrator or Adobe Photoshop to convert PDFs into images.
- Use online converters by searching ‘PDF to JPG’ or ‘PDF to image’ on a search engine and following the instructions on the page.
