Before the event - Check with your Account Manager about the recording fees.
There are two ways to enable the audio and video recording on Boostlingo Events:
1. When the event is created or edited
Once you create the event on our portal, the "General" tab from the event details menu will have the recording settings, as seen below:
By default the automatic recording is disabled, but you can always enable it before the moderator start the event. Depending on privacy considerations (e.g. if interpreters may not allow recording) you can either:
a) Record all languages:
b) Record only some of the language channels
Please note that the "Floor" channel is the original audio without interpretation.
2. During the event -
After the event is started, only the Moderator and the Operator can start the recording. This can be done by clicking the: icon on the top-left of the interface.
- Choose the language you would like to record.
- A moderator can start the recording anytime after the event has started.
- The available languages are depending on your event configuration.
Anyone who is being recorded will see the Recording status icon on the top-right of their interfaces. It includes the Moderator, Speakers, and Interpreters. Audiences and Operators are not recorded.
The recording can be paused/stopped at any time.
Ending an event will automatically stop the recording process as well.
Check this article about how and when can I access the recordings.
